Cleaning Your Banneton
After use brush the Banneton with a hard brush to remove excess flour and dough. Depending on your usage Bannetons can be sterilized every 4 to 12 weeks by putting it in the oven at 130°C for about 45 minutes. Residual dried flour is much easier to brush off after this treatment, leaving your basket clean and ready for its next use.
