Since 1814, Wüsthof knives have been manufactured by skilled workers in Solingen, the famous home of Germany’s knife industry. Today, over 300 artisans work in one of the most state-of-the-art knife factories in the world to produce some of the most exceptional quality knives available – they are the choice of many top chefs worldwide and are selected for use at Raymond Blanc’s cookery school.
Fully forged in high-carbon stainless steel and finished to meticulous standards, Wüsthof knives will last a lifetime of the heaviest use and come up sharp every time.
A Steamer Trading customer mentioned to us this year that whilst he loved the Wüsthof knives he’d bought from us ten years earlier, he’d noted that the Trident logo had dropped off the handles. He didn’t mind, but wondered why it had happened? Wüsthof did mind, though: they’d spotted a problem with a batch of glue ten years earlier, sorted out the problem – and were happy to offer the customer a whole new set of knives. One happy customer, and Wüsthof’s reputation maintained.
