Make up to 1.9 litres of homemade ice cream and plenty of new friends by fitting the KitchenAid ice cream maker attachment to your KitchenAid mixer. Chill the double skinned freezing bowl for 10-12 hours in the freezer before use. Better still, find the bowl a permanent home in the freezer and you will be ready to make ice cream at any time.
Fit the bowl onto your KitchenAid mixer and attach the adaptor to the mixer head to make the paddle rotate smoothly. Add your ice cream mixture to the bowl and use the power of your mixer to churn your ice cream or sorbet to a smooth consistency free from large ice crystals. You'll be eating the fruits of your labours in 20 to 30 minutes.
Wash and dry all parts by hand when you're finished and put the bowl back in the freezer ready for next time.
