Home smoking has never been easier or cleaner than with the Polyscience Smoking Gun. This battery operated smoker has a powerful fan that blows air across a small chamber of smouldering wood chippings. The smoke is blown down the delivery hose where it can used to infuse smoke flavour into a massive variety of foods including butter, sauces and even cocktails as well as meat fish and poultry.
Infusing is easy to do, simply place your food into a container and fill it with smoke from the smoking gun; sealing the container with foil, film, or a lid will keep the smoke in contact with the food infusing a delicious smoky flavour. The Smoking Gun makes a great talking point when used for table presentation. Try filling a glass cheese dome with smoke from the Smoking Gun, this not only infuses your cheese with a natural smoky taste and your smoke filled dome is bound to raise a few eyebrows with your dinner guests. Meat, chicken and fish can be left to marinate in smoke by sealing them in a zip lock bag filled with smoke prior to cooking. The taste of the smoke is particularly evident when marinated foods are then cooked using a sous vide to preserve the delicate flavour.
The Smoking Gun has a one piece removable smoking chamber and a heavy duty metal blower fan that won?t be affected by the heat of the smoke. The smoker comes with two samples of smoking sawdust however tea, spices and even dried flowers can be used in the smoking chamber to add flavour. The smoking Gun and runs on 4 AA batteries (included). Each Smoking gun is backed by a 12 month warranty for total peace of mind.
