Your Account

Please Note: If you registered for an account before 13th October 2016 you will need to create a new account to purchase from our website.

What’s my username?

When you created your Steamer.co.uk account you will have used your email address as your username

 

What happens if I forget my password?

You can request a new password by entering your email address on the Forgotten Your Password page and we'll send you a new one to the address which you registered with.

We recommend that you change your password as soon as is convenient by logging into your account and clicking 'My Details'.

 

Orders

How can I pay for my order?

 We accept the following payment methods: PayPal, VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, Maestro/Switch and American Express

How do I track my order?

 If you’ve created an account you can track your Steamer.co.uk orders and view older online orders by logging in using the My Account link top right of the home page.

Can I change an order once I’ve placed it?

 We’re sorry that in most circumstances it’s not possible to make changes to your order once you’ve placed it as our warehouse is already at work packing it for you

Am I charged for the items as soon as I order them?

 Yes - we take payment immediately for all orders.

Do I have to pay for delivery?

Standard UK delivery within 5 working days is FREE on all orders over £45, or on any order when you opt to “Click and Collect” from a chosen Steamer Trading shop (selected items only – please see individual product page for specific order time and collection terms and conditions).
  • We charge £4.95 for standard UK delivery on orders under £45.
  • We charge £6.95 for next working day UK delivery on all orders, and for named day delivery on all orders. 

Please ensure that your item or items are listed as "In stock" on the product page and that your order is placed prior to 1pm Monday - Thursday to receive your order the next working day.

How do I return an item I’ve bought?

Returns can be made through either Royal Mail or the courier in question, or you can return directly to a Steamer Trading shop. Please refer to our Returns page for full details


How do I find my nearest store?

The Steamer Trading Store Locator will help you find the most convenient store by town or postcode. Every Steamer Trading store has its own page where there's a detailed location map and opening times with full postal address and telephone number

Is it safe to shop online at Steamer.co.uk?

Yes. We use the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption method and have never had any problems with security. We do recommend though that you use the latest version of your browser as some older versions may experience an error when viewing certain parts of our site. However, if you're still concerned or have difficulties, you can call our friendly and knowledgeable Customer Services team on 01273 483300 for help with placing your order

How will I know my details are secure?

We treat your personal information with the highest standards of security and confidentiality. We never sell or give any personal information we have about you to any other company. You can rest assured that your credit/debit card and personal information are safe with us. For more details see our Privacy Policy page
 

What is the security code referred to on the payment page?

Sometimes referred to as the CV2 number or CVV number, the Security Code is either a unique 3-digit number printed on the back of your credit/debit card or, if you have an American Express card, it is a 4-digit number on the front of your card that helps us validate your purchase and protect against fraud. Since this isn't contained in the magnetic strip information, it doesn't get printed on sales receipts, so it's difficult for anyone other than the genuine cardholder to know it.

Does Steamer.co.uk accept and deliver orders from outside the UK?

Not at this time unfortunately, but we’ll be looking into this soon in the new year.

Additional Services

Using our Search facility

Our website Search engine works by checking your search term against all the product titles, product information and product codes currently on the website. It then shows products on a drop-down panel that may match your query. The Search engine will also try to match your query with similar relevant terms.

From the search results page, you'll be able to refine your search by selecting a department or a brand. After selecting a department, more refinement options will become available. You can also sort your results by price, name or newness.

If you can't find what you're looking for, try browsing using the navigation bar at the top of the page. If you're searching for a product you've seen in one of our shops, it may not be available online at present, as not all products are currently stocked on Steamer.co.uk.

Do you sell Gift Vouchers?

Yes we do! Gift vouchers are available to purchase and redeem in all of our stores. Unfortunately we cannot accept gift vouchers as a method of payment online at the moment; however we are hoping to have a solution in place very soon.

Do you offer a cake tin hire service?

Yes we do!  There’s a wide range of sizes and shapes available for hire at reasonable prices, but only for collection from a Steamer Trading shop – see our Store Locator to find your nearest shop.  Please refer to our Cake Tin Hire page for full details
