Our customers always comment that we are an Aladdin's cave of professional kitchen gadgets and you can hear the locals saying "This is my favourite shop" on a daily basis. I love the passion my Steamer colleagues have for our wonderful products too.

The North Yorkshire town of Northallerton is one of the newer additions to the Steamer Trading Cook Shop family. The pretty county town has twice weekly markets that date back to the 11th century and still has a busy high street at its heart.
The historic town dates back to anglo saxon times and boasts an Elizabethan house where Charles the 1st stayed in 1640. He returned 7 years later in less happy circumstances as a prisoner before being sold back to parliament by the scots.
The high street retains a traditional feel with many locally run family businesses which attract visitors to the area.
The store is proving to be a welcome addition to the town and we have already had great fun finding products for customers that they could not find else where.
